Lawyer L. Lin Wood has filed a restraining order against the Georgia Secretary of State to stop the recount, stop vote certification, and overturn the state’s settlement with the Democratic party.
Critics argue the settlement made illegally alters Georgia election laws. Wood is the former attorney of Nicholas Sandmann, Richard Jewell, and most recently, the Trump campaign.
In a tweet Tuesday, Wood stated, “Due process issues are now also raised. The recount is a sham. Tomorrow (Tuesday), I will move for an emergency TRO (temporary restraining order).”
