Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has filed a lawsuit contesting election results in the battleground states of GA, MI, PA, and WI, asking the Supreme Court to block unlawful votes.
Paxton argues that the states’ COVID-era changes to voting policies violated federal law. Legal experts call the suit a ‘longshot,’ but it remains to be seen whether or not Texas’ last-minute effort could turn the tide.
The deadline for states to appoint their presidential electors is December 14th.
