A university in Connecticut has implemented a new policy requiring students to get vaccinated against COVID-19 or lose access to the school Wi-Fi network and face other penalties.
Quinnipiac University issued the new regulations to students via email, explaining it will apply a weekly fee of up to $2,275 per semester for unvaccinated students, mandatory weekly COVID-19 tests, and loss of access to campus network and WiFi.
The email detailing these penalties was sent to roughly 600 students who had not submitted any proof of vaccination. Less than 10,000 students attend Quinnipiac, per a university spokesperson.

“Our goal is to protect the health of our entire university community,” the email read. “In order to accomplish this we must know if you have been vaccinated.” Quinnipiac University will begin classes on Aug. 30 and has implemented other mandates to keep COVID-19 cases down.
On Aug. 2, the school announced that masks must be worn in all indoor settings, and it is also encouraging students to test themselves for COVID-19 five days ahead of returning to campus. The e-mail expressed regret at having to impose these measures but said that the current spread of COVID-19 infections fueled by the delta variant will require ‘mass vaccinations’ to build stronger immunity in the student body.

Connecticut has seen a growing number of China Virus cases recently.
As of Tuesday, the state reported it has had 364,891 positive cases. Approximately 72% of Connecticut residents have received the first dose of the vaccine, and over 64% are fully vaccinated, according to the Mayo Clinic.

For a bunch of smart people at the University…they sure are dumb!!! There are plenty of other great Universities to go to. Take a year off and work….maybe some “adult” leadership will be back in the WH by then….and go back mask free and vax free. Making someone – even so many now with Herd Immunity, is abuse. Many doctors are stating NOT to get the vax if you have Herd Immunity…it could be dangerous to do that. So…without getting into the science of why the vaccines are horrendous and cause possible death with in days afterwards…or 2 weeks afterwards…those not dying from it now are predicted to die in 2-3 years afterwards from it’s effects. Why be a part of this? The university needs to be sued for its blatant disregard for human life. They have not done their research for the true science of why they should not do this to people.
You are so correct!! Spot on with all of it! It comes down to, the Libs own academia. They know exactly what they’re doing. Just makes me sick, all of it! 8 students from Indiana University sued the school. It went all the way to the Supreme Court. If I remember correctly, they wouldn’t even hear the case. At any rate the students did not win.
