A pandemic ravages urban hellscapes, the United States is led by an elderly man incapable of forming sentences (or, better yet, thoughts), and China — the beacon of communism — is thriving.
But apparently, it is the protestant denomination of evangelical Christianity that should keep us up at night. ‘Evangelicals’ is a term commonly used in political spheres to describe the ultra-religious sect that has swung elections before, not so long ago.
But in 2021, “Evangelical Christianity,” according to Duke Professor Curtis Freeman, a Seminarian, “is the greatest threat to human existence today.”
It is an interesting choice of words from the ‘preacher,’ and since sending the tweet on March 30th, Freeman has deleted the statement from Twitter.
