The Center for Medical Progress (CMP) released another video featuring sworn deposition from Planned Parenthood and abortion industry officials. Within the footage are disturbing admissions about infants being born alive inside abortion clinics. These babies were either left to die, or they had their organs harvested.
A procurement manager with Advanced Bioscience Resources, Inc. (ABR), Perrin Larton, testified that aborted babies would fall out “once every couple of months.” ABR is a procurement partner to Planned Parenthood. Larton admitted that the intact fetus provided to ABR by the abortionist would be dissected “to get the tissue that the researchers have requested.”
When asked if the fetuses had a heartbeat, Larton replied, “It would depend.” She stated that “I can see hearts that are not in an intact P.O.C. [product of conception, fetus] that are beating independently.”
Testimony from Dr. Deborah Nucatola, former Senior Director of Medical Services for Planned Parenthood Federation of America, was also featured in CMP’s video. Nucatola was asked if one of her patients had ever delivered a “non-viable fetus” in the operating room. She testified that she was sure this was the case, but she did not provide a clear answer on how to determine if a fetus was viable.
On that question, Nucatola testified that viability “depends on where you work.” She claimed that viability is determined “on a case-by-case basis [at Planned Parenthood].” The “availability of interventions” was one of the ways Nucatola said she decided if a delivered fetus was “viable” and “capable of survival.”
In addition to performing abortions at Planned Parenthood Los Angeles to procure fetal organs for Novogenix Laboratories, LLC, Nucatola was responsible for setting national Medical Standards & Guidelines during her tenure as senior director.
Jon Dunn, the CEO of Planned Parenthood of Orange & San Bernardino Counties, testified that he was aware of an infant who had survived an abortion at a Planned Parenthood clinic about 20 years ago. Dunn’s Planned Parenthood facility partnered with DaVinci Biosciences and DV Biologics for nearly eight years. Both companies have admitted to illegally selling fetal tissue.
“I have only a vague recollection of it,” Dunn said of the case surrounding a born-alive infant. “I know they kept it warm and comfortable for the very brief period that it was alive. I don’t think there was even time to call 911. It was a matter of seconds.”
CMP’s project leader, David Daleiden, asked, “How long will public authorities permit Planned Parenthood and their associates to sell living children inside and outside the womb and then kill them through organ harvesting? The DOJ has vigorously prosecuted the sale of eagle body parts. Surely selling human body parts after cutting them out of an infant with a beating heart is at least as grave of a crime.”
A letter from Rep. Ralph Norman and over 60 Members of Congress requested an update from Attorney General William Barr regarding the Department of Justice’s investigation into Planned Parenthood. CMP’s latest videos show Planned Parenthood openly admitting to criminal activity on tape. Despite these grievous violations of human dignity, the corporation has over $1 billion in assets and receives $600 million annually in taxpayer dollars.
The results of CMP’s investigative efforts are groundbreaking, and it’s fortunate that the public’s attention has been shifted back toward them.
