Never Back Down – a political action committee that is being used as a launch board for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ impending 2024 campaign – issued a long and puzzling tweet Wednesday evening after former President Donald Trump’s town hall on CNN.
In the tweet, the group appeared to hit Trump for saying that he would consider pardons for Americans imprisoned for being present at the January 6 Capitol breach in 2021.
The PAC also parrotted a long list of left-wing talking points that are based in lies or half-truths in the poorly-written message, and cheered on the Department of Justice’s dramatic raids on Mar-a-Lago over simple mementos from the Trump presidency.
They even said Trump was “found guilty” in “the sex abuse case” (???) of writer E. Jean Carroll.
The tweet, clearly written by out-of-touch campaign amateurs, reads:
“On CNN tonight, Trump spent an hour talking about:
– What he did or didn’t do on January 6, 2021
– Whether he will pardon people who harmed police officers
– How the 2020 election was rigged
– Whether he supports terminating parts of the U.S. Constitution or the whole thing because the 2020 election was rigged
– The sex abuse case he was just found guilty in
– A cat named “Vagina”
– His defense of his comments about grabbing women by their genitals
– The federal investigation into his stash of taxpayer-owned classified documents at Mar-a-Lago
– The investigation into his efforts to reverse his 2020 loss to Biden in Georgia
How does this Make America Great Again?”
If this is NeVeR BaCk DoWN’s best attempt at swaying Republican primary voters away from Trump – after they watched him wipe the floor with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins – DeSantis’ campaign won’t even make it off the ground.
Conservative news source The Columbia Bugle tweeted a response to the message, writing, “Who The Hell Is Running The DeSantis PAC?”
“Indistinguishable from Lib Twitter.”
The PAC has been linked to a Republican digital marketing firm by anonymous sources who previously worked there.
The firm reportedly even did a “Trump purge” after the 2022 midterms, anonymous sources told Rogue Review, allegedly cutting some of its most-senior employees for their ties to pro-Trump circles, although this is unconfirmed.
We can confirm that the agency has sent its ‘best and brightest’ operatives – many considered left-leaning, even on DeSantis’ top issues – down to Florida as part of a pro-DeSantis campaign initiative.
It is important to note that, while DeSantis has yet to announce his candidacy for the presidency, and this PAC is supposedly only “trying to convince him to run,” the account has been consistently retweeted and amplified by members of the official DeSantis team.
Despite being blasted out across the social media platform, the account still has only mustered a few thousand followers, and with tweets like that attacking the Republican base, that comes as no surprise to anyone who understands the current mood of the right wing.
The DeSantis shadow campaign might want to reconsider the digital firm it works with moving forward after this obvious misstep.

Makes him look like a RINO? He is worse than a RINO. On two separate occasions, Deep State DeSantis hopped onto an airplane – and flew over to Israel – trips possibly paid for by the tax payers of Florida – and then signed two pieces of legislation that basically repealed the First Amendment right of Freedom of Speech for every resident of the State of Florida.
Ron DeSantis certainly is a RINO, but he is also is willing to eviscerate the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights in order to curry favor with his billionaire donors who despise the First Amendment and who want to make it a crime, punishable by prison time, for anyone who dares to criticize them and who points out their primary participation in a wide range of subversive, anti-American, anti-freedom and anti-White agendas.
Ron DeSantis not only should never be allowed to become President, that guy should be permanently banned and prohibited from holding any political office.

Ron is a great Gov. of Florida, but hanging his hat on the establishment will end his political dreams. He needs to run from Paul Ryan and Carl Rove.
