Representative Dan Crenshaw (RINO-TX) held a town hall Monday night in his district, and things did NOT go as planned. Recently after bragging that his district loves him, the Congressman absolutely snapped at a young girl who asked him a question about comments he made suggesting Jesus is not a “real” hero that Americans should look up to.

Here are his full remarks: “The important thing is that we have societal hero archetypes that we look up to. Jesus is a hero archetype, Superman is a hero archetype. Real characters too, you know, I put, I could name a thousand … You know, know Rosa Parks, Ronald Reagan, all of these people embody certain attributes that the American people think ‘This is good.’”

His comments, made in 2020, came back to bite him at the town hall when a young girl told him she couldn’t wrap her head around his statement in which he clearly equates Jesus with Superman and lumps Him in with fictional heroes.

Crenshaw cuts her off, snapping back with, “Well, I’ll help you. Put a period after Jesus and don’t question my faith.” Quickly getting boos from the crowd, he attempts to tone it down with a softer, “don’t question my faith.” But the damage was already done.

This public impropriety is just one in a long list for Crenshaw, who has become quite unpopular since his initial election to Congress.

Due to his hawkish foreign policy and constant bickering with Trump Republicans, Crenshaw has fallen out of favor among the vast majority of the right-wing’s voting electorate. Earlier in 2022, Crenshaw even called Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), one of the staunchest conservatives in Congress, a “Democrat” when she said, “he’s hurting our (conservative) brand.”

This is the full comment that set Crenshaw off in Greene’s case: “No FEMA should not set up testing sites to check for Omicron sneezes, coughs, and runny noses. And we don’t need FEMA in hospitals, they should hire back all the unvaccinated HCW they fired … He needs to stop calling himself conservative, he’s hurting our brand.”

“Hey Marjorie … you might be a Democrat – or just an idiot,” Crenshaw shot back. This is just one of the many instances where Crenshaw has lashed out at conservatives for supporting liberty and less government.

He even called out the entire House Freedom Caucus – led by conservative warrior Jim Jordan and co-founded by then-Rep. Ron DeSantis – referring to the overwhelmingly popular Congressional bloc’s members as “grifters.”

These are strong words from a wishy-washy warmonger who feels the need to lash out at a child who asked him a great question. Crenshaw is up for re-election in 2022 and will likely win again thanks to his backing from the GOP despite his questionable actions and attacks on Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Taylor Greene is the opposite of Crenshaw, garnering strong support from the party’s base through action and strength. Scroll for one of our favorite MTG memories, when she confronted pro-abortion Democrats head-on outside the Capitol steps.

Conservative firebrand Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is once again being vilified by the left-wing due to her most recent stand.

As Congressional Democrats celebrated the signing of a new abortion law at the Capitol steps, Marjorie Taylor Greene approached the crowd and said, “You should all be ashamed!”

Representative Debbie Dingell (D-MI), standing on the steps, retorted, telling MTG that she lacked “civility” for defending the unborn. MTG shot right back, and Dingell almost FELL down the stairs! Marjorie had a snappy response to that, too.
