The Center for Medical Progress (CMP) has released footage of Planned Parenthood officials testifying under oath that the corporation illegally sold aborted baby body parts. Previously, Planned Parenthood claimed the content of CMP’s undercover investigation in 2015 utilized deceptive editing to push a false narrative. But the recently unveiled footage and documents prove the abortion provider profited from harvesting fetal tissue.
Planned Parenthood claimed CMP had released doctored videos, and they were merely being reimbursed for the cost of shipping and transporting fetal organs. This was disproven by forensic analyses of the videos, but that did not stop the corporation from filing a lawsuit in response to CMP’s investigation. Former California Attorney General Kamala Harris also coordinated with Planned Parenthood to press charges against CMP journalists David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt.
The unveiled footage of depositions from high-ranking Planned Parenthood employees appears to further dispute the organization’s claims that CMP had been untruthful. Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast’s Senior Director of Abortion Access, Tram Nguyen, can be seen admitting the organization had secured a financial arrangement for gathered fetal parts.
A former senior director of medical services for the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, testified that she knew the corporation was paid for obtaining body parts. Dr. Mary Gatter – who had been caught in CMP’s tapes saying how she wanted a “Lamborghini” – confessed she had conducted a business arrangement with Novogenix, a fetal tissue harvesting firm.
While the law permits reimbursement payments, further testimony and documentation revealed Planned Parenthood received payments for “useable body parts.” Invoice records showed certain Planned Parenthood centers made $10,000 in a single month as part of a “fiscal reward” from StemExpress, a fetal procurement agency.
Speaking with the press, Daleiden stated:
“The time has come for federal consequences for Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood lied to the public and to Congress, but now there is no longer any reasonable doubt that Planned Parenthood sold fetal body parts, commodifying living children in the womb and treating pregnant women like a cash crop. The U.S. Department of Justice must escalate the enforcement of laws against fetal trafficking to the highest level of priority.”
