In yet another uncomfortable gaffe, President Joe Biden referred to recent Masters golf tournament champion Hideki Matsuyama as “Japanese Boy.”
Biden was attempting to send his congratulations to Japan Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga, but things came out a bit awkwardly:
Pres. Biden congrats the Japan Prime Minister on Hideki Matsuyama becoming the first Japanese golfer to win the Masters:

Biden continues to give the internet reason to laugh, but at some point, it’s no longer funny. Many Americans are becoming increasingly concerned as the President of the United States struggles to complete coherent sentences.
The administration will attempt to get back on track as the Japanese Prime Minister’s stay drags on.
