Republican Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake, previously a broadcast journalist, absolutely embarrassed a CNN reporter when ambushed for comments.
Kyung Lah, who has a history with Lake, stepped in front of Lake right as the candidate was entering a campaign event.
First, Lake lightheartedly noted Lah’s lack of a mask. “You don’t have a mask anymore,” said Lake, “What’s going on?” Lah, with her recited answer ready, said “we’re outside” before getting right down to business.
Lah asked Lake if she could take a second to chat, to which Lake hilariously responded, “Um, I’ll do an interview, as long as it airs on CNN+. Does that still exist?”
Lah was definitely caught off guard a bit. WATCH:

Lake will quite likely win the Republican nomination for the seat, left open by two-term GOP Governor Doug Ducey.
