A far-left-wing professor who worked at Hunter College in New York City has been fired from her job for holding a knife to the neck of a NY Post reporter yesterday morning.
The Post’s reporter went to Shellyne Rodriguez’s apartment to confront her about an incident in which she cursed at and threatened students at Hunter College associated with Students for Life, a Pro-Life group, who were on campus Tuesday.
“Get the F*** away from my door, or I’m going to chop you up with this machete,” Rodriguez said in the viral video. The reporter for the post, Reuven Fenton, went to the apartment with his photographer, to address an incident in which Rodriguez destroyed the Students for Life Art Display after verbally and physically confronting them.
The confrontation continued a few minutes outside, as the reporter and photographer were walking to their vehicle, Rodriguez came storming out of the building, with a machete in her hands and chased the reporter down the street.
The chase occurred after Rodriguez stepped out of her apartment and held a knife to the reporter’s neck.

“Hunter College strongly condemns the unacceptable actions of Shellyne Rodriguez, and has taken immediate action,” Hunter spokesman Vincent Dimiceli told the BBC.
“Rodriguez has been relieved of her duties at Hunter College, effective immediately, and will not be returning to teach at the school,” the statement continued.
In the original video, Rodriguez confronted the Students For Life, and said, “You’re not educating, this is propaganda, this is violence,” adding, “You’re triggering my students.”
The New York City Police Department said that they were notified about the incident, and are currently investigating.
