Jason Miller, a close advisor of Donald Trump’s, has launched a new social media app, GETTR. GETTR is apparently the long-awaited (and Trump-approved?) tech alternative that proponents of the MAGA movement have been searching for.
Miller confirmed via Text to Politico that he is indeed leading the charge on this new venture. Trump’s direct involvement in the project is to this point unclear, but considering the disappointment after the website “From the Desk of Donald Trump” released, perhaps Team Trump is testing the waters before claiming the app as their own brand.
The app’s interface appears to resemble the styles of Twitter and Instagram:
Trump, who is still banned on major social media platforms, surely could use another platform to spread his message.
