The tolerant left struck again Monday when Democratic Congresswomen Ilhan Omar described President Trump’s campaign rallies as “Klan Rallies.” According to Omar, the millions of Americans attending Trump’s rallies have to be white supremacists.
It is odd that Omar would hold such a radical belief, considering the growing coalition of minorities that President Trump has helped the GOP build. Trump gained support amongst Latinos and African Americans, and a majority of Cuban Americans voted for him as well. Yet radicals such as Omar describe these diverse Americans as white supremacists.
Omar’s comments are not only twisted but dangerous as well. Just blocks away from Omar’s Capitol Hill office, dozens of left-wing activists recently attacked peaceful Trump supporters during the Million MAGA March. Their only crime was supporting a President that garnered 73 million votes.
