Liberal talk show host Dean Obeidallah equated conservatives who want to “make America great again” with hijackers who killed 2,977 people on September 11th, 2001.
Obeidallah tweeted, “Terrorists are terrorists – be they Bin Laden’s Al Qaeda or Trump’s MAGA. Time to hold Trump accountable!!”
This may seem extreme, but this is actually a common sentiment among some liberal circles.
Pam Keith, the CEO of Center for Employment Justice, tweeted on September 11th last year,
“On 1/6/2021,
9/11/2001 ceased being the worst thing that happened to America in my lifetime.
It’s really weird and painful to process and say that.
But it’s the truth.
And quite frankly… it’s not even close.”
Conservatives on Twitter pushed back:
Another Twitter user decided that January 6th was worse than 9/11.
Comparing the attacks of September 11th to a handful of MAGA devotees entering the capitol building is likely considered an “extreme” position by most Americans. Those who witnessed and survived the attacks understood the gravity of the moment and the terror they experienced.

Only someone with mental challenges could make a comparison between 9/11 terrorists and a (MAGA) protest where only 1 person was killed and it was an unarmed female military veteran protester. Make America Great Again stands for
secure borders, defending our country, Freedom of religion, Freedom of Speech, legitimate fair elections, equal
economic opportunity for all, and fair trade policy that doesn’t disadvantage America and everything else that’s good
for this county. The domestic enemies are BLM and Antifa – the foreign enemy is China with Russia coming in second.
What a fkg joke,9/11 and 1/6 are two different animals. Only one person died, and they were murdered by a jumpy capital policeman,bird, that shot a woman in the throat, a veteran at that,who posed no risk to him. In the towers, thousands died and burned to death, including many rescue workers. So there is no comparison, there was no insurrection either, that is made up by the dummycraps,and the deep state running the show,not for long.
