Eight elected Michigan Republicans are calling for an investigation into Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s handling of nursing homes during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Fox News.
State Senator Jim Runestead and seven other Michigan Republicans sent letters to acting U.S. Attorney General Monty Wilkinson as well as Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel.
Runestead and company’s message alleges that Whitmer’s nursing home policies exacerbated the number of deaths in those facilities.
