According to new data compiled by the Morning Consult and POLITICO, a staggering portion of Americans say they plan to wear masks FOREVER. While we all know by now how INSANE some people have become during COVID, this new poll is still pretty shocking.
The data comes from a poll conducted in late July and early August of this year. And unfortunately, the masking brigade isn’t only saying THEY want masks forever; a strong majority is also demanding local governments put mask mandates in place for public spaces.
The poll also shows the majority of Democrats AND Republicans blaming the unvaccinated for ‘rising’ COVID cases. (RELATED: NEW DATA: Vaccinated People to Blame for 74% of Cases in THIS City)
Morning Consult summarizes all the findings:
- 63% of vaccinated adults said that when they’re in public indoor spaces, they’ll wear masks “always” or “most of the time,” compared with 48% of those who aren’t fully vaccinated.
- 69% of adults said local governments should put mask mandates in place, while another 31% said they shouldn’t.
- Democrats and Republicans were both more likely to blame unvaccinated adults than any other group for the recent increase in COVID-19 cases.
And finally, roughly 2-in-5 Americans polled reported that they plan to ALWAYS — yes, ALWAYS — wear masks. It is not all that surprising, considering a decent chunk of these lunatics likely watch Rachel Maddow or Don Lemon on a nightly basis.

Still, considering masks do very little against the spread of COVID-19 in the grand scheme of things, it really is incredible.
Day by day, Americans are becoming more and more open and — as we see in this data — welcoming to the idea of MORE mask mandates.
