Former President Donald J. Trump made a joking pledge to “never, ever” ride a bicycle following President Biden’s bicycle mishap caught on camera over the weekend.
Speaking at a Tennessee rally on Sunday, Trump railed on the performance of the Biden administration, “It’s a disgrace what they are doing to our country. We can erase the calamities of the Biden years. All it takes is a House, Senate and President who will put America first…”
Trump then went after Biden himself, “One of the greatest travesties of all is to see a person in the White House who, even after years of political experience, has absolutely no clue how to be the president of the United States…and I hope he is recovered…because as you know, he fell off his bicycle today…no, I’m serious, I hope he’s okay…[he] fell off a bicycle.”
Trump ended with a memorable quip:
“I make this pledge to you today: I will never, ever ride a bicycle.”

President Joe Biden fell off his bicycle near his home in Delaware on Sunday. As Biden rode up to the media, he left his right foot in the pedal strap, as he tipped over sideways. Secret service helped him recover after the tumble, and he told reporters, “I’m good”.
