As former President Donald Trump’s unprecedented arraignment comes nearer in Manhattan, the prosecution’s star witness Michael Cohen, Trump’s former disgraced lawyer, visited MSNBC’s Ari Melber to discuss his former boss.
When asked by Melber how Trump would feel if put in prison – which is an extremely hyperbolic and unlikely scenario – Cohen went on a bizarre rant, saying that Trump would defecate.
The New York Post’s Miranda Devine commented on the clip, saying, “Cohen is not a well man.”
This guy is seriously Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s key witness in his office’s ongoing case against Trump:
Cohen worked as a personal attorney for Trump and special counsel to the Trump Organization beginning in 2007. His claims that he himself made a payment to Stormy Daniels – supposedly on Trump’s behalf – have fueled Bragg’s political persecution of Trump.
Stormy Daniels herself denied ever receiving payment from Trump in a 2018 letter. Read the letter here.
