Caving to public pressure after numerous tweets by President Trump this week, left-wing Social Media site Twitter has added a warning label connected to President Trump’s tweets, and they also have added a “fact-check,” section at the bottom of President Trump’s tweets.

The controversy started earlier this week when President Trump sent out a series of tweets in response to the RNC filling two lawsuits against California Governor Gavin Newsom and his efforts to expand mail-in-voting throughout California.

“There is no way (ZERO!), that mail-in ballots will be anything less than substantially fraudulent,” President Trump tweeted this week. “Mail boxes would be robbed, ballots will be forged and even illegally printed out and fraudulently signed. The Governor of California is sending ballots to millions of people anyone, living in the state, no matter who they are or how they got there, will get one. That will be followed up with professionals telling all of these people, many of whom have never even thought of voting before, how and for whom to vote,” the President continued.

The tweet brought swift reaction from twitter. By Tuesday afternoon they posted a “Get the facts about mail-in voting” badge on the President’s tweets, with clickable links. Clicking the link brings you to a Politico article titled “Trump makes the unsubstantiated claim that mail-in ballots will lead to voter fraud.”

Twitter also used several other liberal mainstream media sources such as the Washington Post, the New York Times, and CNN for sourcing.

Other controversies contributed to the pressure on twitter this past week after the President also sent out a tweet that suggested MSNBC host Joe Scarborough had a role in the death of an intern that died in his office in 2000.

In typical hypocritical fashion, twitter has never taken down or flagged the accounts of people like anti-semite Louis Farrakhan, who has a number of controversial tweets, along with other leading Democrat and left-wing figures.
