It’s nothing new for Lori Lightfoot and her liberal metropolitan ilk, but nonetheless disappointing.
At a budget forum Thursday night, Mayor Lightfoot completely botched recently-slain Chicago Police Officer Ella French’s name. The widely-disliked mayor received massive boos for another disrespectful action when she refused to allow the traditional bagpipe send-off for the fallen officer…
…after being at Lollapalooza just a week prior.
CPD Superintendent David Brown also called Ella French “Ella Fitzgerald” twice incorrectly earlier in the week.

French, the first female officer killed in the line of duty in decades in Chicago, was murdered earlier this week. It is despicable to watch as Democratic leaders across this great country continue to disrespect and disparage our men and women serving in blue.
Despite the differences some on the right have with police departments, it’s safe to say all of us want Officer Ella French’s legacy to be properly respected.
But unfortunately, cops are left for dead in modern liberal hellholes like Chicago.
