WATCH: Capitol Police ARREST Mother of Ashli Babbitt for Jaywalking

Video released to Twitter Friday reportedly shows Capitol Police arresting Micki Witthoeft, the mother of Ashli Babbitt, the woman killed by agents in the January 6 Capitol breach two years ago today.

According to investigative journalist Officer Lew, the alleged charge was ‘jaywalking.’

Award-winning documentarian Ford Fischer caught the arrest on a live stream, and multiple users, including Turning Point USA director Charlie Kirk, shared a clip from the reel to Twitter.

Kirk also noted that Witthoeft was arrested while conducting a memorial service on the 2nd anniversary of her daughter’s killing.

Another clip posted by veteran James Bradley shows the beginning of the event, when Capitol Police officers can be seen warning Witthoeft to head to the sidewalk while threatening her with arrest for jaywalking.

Witthoeft’s daughter Ashli Babbitt, an Air Force veteran, was killed by federal agents when entering the Capitol two years ago on January 6, 2021.
