Video released to Twitter Friday reportedly shows Capitol Police arresting Micki Witthoeft, the mother of Ashli Babbitt, the woman killed by agents in the January 6 Capitol breach two years ago today.
According to investigative journalist Officer Lew, the alleged charge was ‘jaywalking.’
Award-winning documentarian Ford Fischer caught the arrest on a live stream, and multiple users, including Turning Point USA director Charlie Kirk, shared a clip from the reel to Twitter.
Kirk also noted that Witthoeft was arrested while conducting a memorial service on the 2nd anniversary of her daughter’s killing.
