On the same day that Congressman Troy Nehls (R-TX) reported Nancy Pelosi’s Stasi Capitol Police breaking into his office disguised as construction workers, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) took to the House floor to share his office’s own experience of federal overreach.
According to a statement released by Gohmert to Twitter, the Department of Justice opened and x-rayed constituent mail sent to his office. Congressional mail is protected in the Constitution, yet the lawless, highly-partisan DOJ seems to be side-stepping the law of the land to spy on Republicans.
