The last two years have seen massive amounts of state-to-state migration between liberal coastal states like California and New York into interior red states.

Some of these migrants are conservative, looking for a more sane life away from mandatory vaccinations, suffocating masks, high taxes, brutal crime, and insane gas prices. But others are liberal and are fleeing the consequences of the policies they voted for. Instead of learning from their mistakes and changing voting behavior – they want to destroy a new state.

Idaho is one such state. It has seen a high influx from surrounding states, especially California. Idaho actually leads the country in population growth, growing 2.9% (or 53,000 residents) from 2020 to 2021.

The Kootenai County GOP published a video, calling for newcomers to keep Idaho the same and to avoid destroying the local culture:

The video focuses on recent growth in Idaho driving an increase in crime, drug use and liberal policies.

Camera shots cut between separate news broadcasts talking about culturally liberal problems happening in the state. On “International Transgender Visibility Day”, a march of support was held in Boise, with attendees waving LGBTQIA flags. Images of drag queens teaching children in a local library or public school were shown. These images are contrasted with images of conservative residents supporting strong conservative values; such as backing law enforcement and defending businesses from BLM rioting

The Kootenai County GOP is the local Republican seat for Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. This is a traditionally strong conservative area, with nearly 70% of the residents voting for Republicans. This is up 9% from 2008.

Idaho has a recent history of conservative action. The Idaho Lt. Governor Janice McGeachin banned mask mandates last summer, using a loophole in the law.

Idaho’s Republican primary takes place on May 17th, 2022. The Kootenai County GOP has curated a list of preferred candidates at the state, county and district level.
