In Shakespeare’s play Henry V, during Henry’s famous Crispin’s Day Speech, the king says that “this story shall the good man teach his son,” and Sts. Crispin and Crispian’s Day “shall ne’er go by, from this day to the ending of the world, but we in it shall be remember’d.” In like manner, and in a less positive tone, I would say that I hope in the future every good American shall teach his son about the Jan. 6 fraud and that the names of those media figures and government officials–particularly the Jan. 6 Select Committee in the House of Representatives–will be remembered. Why? Because this was a scandal bigger than Watergate. How? It was used to destroy the credibility of anyone who talked about voter fraud, it was used to justify the federal government targeting Americans both online and in person, it was used by the media to paint all Trump supporters as crazy domestic terrorists, it was used to justify banning Trump from most tech platforms and allowing the feds to target and harass him, and it was used to arrest, imprison, and even torture over 900 Americans.
And now, what do we find from the Jan. 6 tapes that Fox’s Tucker Carlson has obtained and begun to release? That at least three big assertions of the Jan. 6 Select Committee and its hysterical leftist allies were flat-out lies. Firstly, Jacob Chansley, the “QAnon Shaman,” who was sentenced to almost four years in jail for his activities that day, is now shown to have behaved peacefully and been escorted around and even assisted by multiple Capitol police (even at his trial it was admitted Chansley didn’t assault anyone).
Secondly, Capitol police officer Brian Sicknick was filmed walking about apparently healthy after he had supposedly been murdered by Trump supporters. Thirdly, Ray Epps, whom some argue was a fed plant because he was not arrested even when he was the only person proved to have called for storming the Capitol ahead of time, lied in his testimony. Not only did Epps lie, but all those with access to the tapes–i.e. the Select Committee for one–would have known that he was lying; or at least, had access to the evidence that could have proved he was lying. Not to mention the fact the tapes show the majority of protestors behaving like peaceful, respectful tourists. There was no “armed insurrection”—there was a protest of people justly upset that their election, their republic, was being stolen from them. “One of the enduring mysteries of Jan. 6 is the role that intelligence and law enforcement agencies played in the events of that day,” Tucker said. “We know there was some number of undercover federal agents in the crowd at the Capitol. Officials have since admitted that under oath. But what exactly were they doing there? The Jan. 6 Committee worked hard to hide the answer to that question. We do know from contemporaneous video that a mysterious figure called ‘Ray Epps’ encouraged the crowd to go into the Capitol.
For some reason, Epps has never been indicted for that. But there’s no question he did it.” You can watch the clip of Epps here as part of Tucker’s video. It shows Epps shouting, “We need to go into the Capitol!” Tucker noted that the Jan. 6 Committee finally interviewed Epps due to public pressure, at which point Epps claimed he never entered the Capitol and thus didn’t commit a crime.
Text messages showed (Tucker says) that Epps boasted at 2:12 pm to his nephew, “I also orchestrated it [the riot].” Epps confessed that he had helped protestors get to the Capitol. So why has Epps not been arrested? Why do the Democrats treat him as an “ally”? Why was a man who merely texted something violent after the supposed “riot” arrested, when Epps was not? This is particularly puzzling since Tucker said he found video evidence that “Ray Epps lied in his sworn testimony to the Jan. 6 Committee. Epps testified that when he sent text messages to his nephew, he had already left the Capitol grounds to return to his hotel room. That is not true.”

At 2:41 pm, based on the footage Tucker and his team have, Epps was still at the Capitol. “Ray Epps remained at the Capitol for at least another half an hour [after the messages],” Tucker said, showing part of the video evidence. “What was Epps doing there? We can’t say. But we do know that he lied to investigators. The Jan. 6 Committee likely knew this too. Democrats had access to the same tape, yet they defended Ray Epps. No honest investigation would do that.” Tucker later said that the Jan. 6 Committee actually added audio to silent tapes to make the scenes seem more tumultuous and ominous. So they had time to add fake audio to videotapes, but not to review tapes that proved Ray Epps was lying? What does that say? “The point was to stage a made-for-TV show trial,” Tucker asserted. “There was not a tragedy in American history that Democrats didn’t liken to the protests of Jan. 6.”
As Tucker said, these people are liars. “How staged and fraudulent was the work of the Jan. 6 Committee? Democrats hired a Good Morning America producer called James Goldston to dramatize the footage they released. They even dubbed in audio to make the pictures more sensational, as in a docudrama.”
And so Jacob Chansley is serving a four year sentence on top of the time he already spent in jail before his trial. Over 950 people, some who weren’t even on the Capitol grounds, have been arrested as supposed insurrectionists. Jan. 6 political prisoners for two years now have reported horrific conditions, such as strip searches, lack of basic medical care and necessities, sewage overflows, brutal physical abuse, starvation, and isolation. At least one prisoner committed suicide in despair. The prisoners were and are literally being treated worse than terrorists. It sounds as if it can’t be America. And we’ve known about these conditions for a long time—one Epoch Times article (which I also covered at the time) from back on July 5, 2021, reported on some of the terrible conditions already being inflicted on Jan. 6 prisoners, many of whom were in jail without a trial, let alone a conviction. And yet many Republicans seem to be just realizing that Jan. 6 prisoners were unfairly treated.

We need to call out the names of the people who lied or spread the lies without second-guessing. First there’s the Jan. 6 committee: Bennie Thompson, Zoe Lofgren, Adam Schiff, Jamie Raskin, Pete Aguilar, Stephanie Murphy, Elaine Luria, Liz Cheney, and Adam Kinzinger. There’s Ray Epps. There’s all the reporters at The New York Times, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, The Washington Post, AP, Politico, CBS, TIME, and the other leftist media bastions that are still pushing Jan. 6 lies. There’s the congressmen who endorsed or are still endorsing harsh treatment of Jan. 6 prisoners or extravagant descriptions of the protests; including Lindsey Graham, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Mitch McConnell, Hakeem Jeffries, Mike Rounds, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Mark Kelly, Richard Blumenthal, Kevin Kramer, Ilhan Omar, Markwayne Mullin, Eric Swalwell, Cori Bush, Amy Klobuchar, Ted Cruz, Elizabeth Warren, Kevin McCarthy, Ed Markey, and Maxine Waters (among many others, both Democrat and Republican, though particularly Democrat). “President” Joe Biden and VP Kamala Harris lied and still lie about Jan. 6. These people and entities all need to be held accountable by Congress and by lawyers and by media. Citizens should be contacting Congress to demand investigations and organizing protests. If you consider the families of the nearly 1000 people arrested related to Jan. 6, as well as all the Trump allies accused in connection to the “riot,” there are literally thousands of Americans who have been impacted by the outrageous lies surrounding Jan. 6.
The Jan. 6 Committee knew that it was all a fraud. With access to all of the tapes, it knew that the vast majority of protesters were peaceful, that the Capitol police invited protesters into the building, and that the only deaths that occurred were the deaths of protesters at the hands of Capitol police; namely, Rosanne Boyland and Ashli Babbitt. That was probably why they cherry-picked or edited their videos and added audio to silent tapes. They knew that their argument could only survive as long as the evidence was hidden or manipulated. These men and women need to be held accountable. I don’t just mean that they should lose their next elections, as Liz Cheney already did, but that they need to be held legally accountable for destroying thousands of people’s lives and trying to destroy many more through their deliberate deceptions.

America ceased to have a democratically elected government that day not because of the Jan. 6 protestors, but because the Democrats succeeded in stealing an election. And so of course Democrats have been fixated on lying about the “riot.” Democrats have been inventing lies out of nothing since the first Democrat president Andrew Jackson—that’s how they’ve covered for their election fraud, damaging policies, and corruption for centuries. Republicans need to stop accepting such behavior before it’s too late. For many Jan. 6 prisoners, it already is too late—even if they eventually get out of jail, their lives have been permanently and illegally damaged. We owe those people justice.
This was not just propaganda, it was propaganda that ruined innocent Americans’ lives. It was propaganda that was used to justify taking the most fundamental rights away from American citizens to treat them in shockingly horrific ways in jail. It’s like reading about trials and government persecution in the Soviet Union. How did we get to this point in America?
